ASRC Federal is looking for a Network Engineer that would be responsible for the planning and reengineering of systems and infrastructure supporting the customers business needs. Our deliverables include the development of systems and architectures to support business requirements, as well as continuity of operations and disaster recovery requirements. An understanding is required of network adoption processes and network security requirements as it relates to the interfacing of cloud and on-prem resources in an enterprise architecture. The monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting of systems is also a key responsibility.

ASRC Federal is looking for a Network Engineer that would be responsible for the planning and reengineering of systems and infrastructure supporting the customers business needs. Our deliverables include the development of systems and architectures to support business requirements, as well as continuity of operations and disaster recovery requirements. Required Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in Cisco ISE (Identity Service Engine) for Device Administration, configuration of policies for both wired and wireless networks.
- Expertise in Cisco Cloud based (Meraki) WIFI installations with variety of access points and firewall appliances.
- Expertise in Cisco Catalyst Center (Formally DNAc) for administering large networks with zero touch provisioning, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Expertise in Cisco DUO (Two Multi-Factor Authentication) for provisioning MFA for multiple vendor platforms of Network devices.
- Design and implementation of WAN/LAN architectures, including DMZ structures, administering Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Expertise in Large Data Center design with multi-core redundant Routing and Switching architecture and integration with complex storage systems.
- Expertise in industry standard advanced WAN Routing protocols such as Border gateway protocol(BGP), Open shortest path first (OSPF) protocols etc., and design of large multi-protocol label switching networks (MPLS) with numerous sites.
- Expertise in FortiGate Firewall configuration and installation utilizing Lan-to-Lan (L2L) and MPLS networks, Software Defined Wide-Area networks (SDWA).
- Expertise in advanced troubleshooting of complex routing and switching issues (OSI Model - layer 1 through Layer 7)
- Understanding of WAF (Web Application Firewall) architectures and operations
- Ability to create technical documentation to include SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure), design documents and operation manuals. Including LAN/WAN architectures documentation. Working knowledge of the WAN (Wide Area Networks), LAN (Local Area Networks) and Firewalls
- 3+ years of experience and a Degree or equivalent

- Working knowledge of the following technologies and tools:
- WAN/LAN Routing/switching, including Data Center design with Nexus and Catalyst platforms
- WIFI Networks Design and installations o ISE (Identity Service Engine)
- Understanding Cisco VoIP o Cisco Catalyst Center (Formally DNAc)
- Riverbed SteelFusion
- Understanding CloudFlare DNS

- A four-year degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
