The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Defense Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in the Huntsville, AL area. This role will focus on providing critical data support to enhance and protect infrastructure and cybersecurity operations. Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Defense Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in the Huntsville, AL area. This role will focus on providing critical data support to enhance and protect infrastructure and cybersecurity operations. Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead a Data and Applications Development team on a large cybersecurity contract in support of a Enterprise Security Operations Center. This team develops, operates, maintains, and enhances a suite of cybersecurity tools deployed across secure enclaves to support incident response, threat detection, and event monitoring.
- Ensure data integration from centralized and local system sources, ensuring effective and timely responses to cybersecurity events
- Lead the team in creation of new applications, algorithms, and automation to optimize workflows and improve data analysis
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain Top-Secret Clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI
- US Citizenship
- 10+ years of experience in devops, systems administration and/or cybersecurity
- Experience with Linux based environment administration
- Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity
- Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity
- Familiarity with all related aspects of cybersecurity operations and security architecture
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks
- Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms, and python
- Experience with FBI, DHS, IC, and DoD Networks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to create technical reports based on analytical findings.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
- AWS Certified Cloud Practioner
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
