Position Summary

MAG currently has an opening for a part time Systems Analyst II to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic). This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the cybersecurity implementations and operations, advanced technology, and project management services mission. In this mission, we provide engineering and technical services with operational support located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Analyzing, designing, and enhancing computer systems and applications.
  • Collaborating with technical and non-technical staff to gather and document business requirements, develop technical specifications, and provide recommendations to improve system and program efficiencies.


Requirements

Minimum Requirements

(U) Experience:
  • Three (3) years of Computerized System experience, to include: Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating system.

(U) Education:
  • High School diploma or GED. Individual shall be working towards the relevant certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification.

(U) Specific Requirements:
  • Decision making, communication, collaboration and writing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook (Word, Email, Spreadsheets, Schedules, PowerPoint).

(U) General Requirements:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must possess an active Secret clearance level

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86250 to $143750 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
