Job Description

As a Security Professional - Media Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Join our team as an unarmed patrol officer in the dynamic Tech/Media/Telecom sector. You will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to all personnel and visitors. We believe in teamwork and integrity, ensuring that our officers are well-supported in their duties. This position does not require driving or carrying arms, but a guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possess a valid Guard Card/License; preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
