Systems Administrator (Secret Clearance)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a National Security Contract located in Columbus, OH through 100% full onsite presence . The Systems Administrator will manage and maintain the IT infrastructure, configure physical and virtual systems, install backup infrastructure, and update support systems.

Responsibilities of the Systems Administrator include:

• Utilize Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and Windows servers to monitor & maintain an enterprise services environment
• User support assisting with VPN connectivity, account management, and troubleshooting
• System updates including patching, security, and configuration
• Analyze and resolve performance issues, collaborate on technical problems, propose process improvements
• Create & update documentation for common issues and processes
• Provide occasional after-hours maintenance support for urgent issues

Qualifications of the Systems Administrator include:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of experience
• Experience troubleshooting with Windows OS or Linux OS
• Experience performing administrative tasks & researching
• Active secret clearance
• Security+ CE

Compensation for the Systems Administrator includes:

• Salary: $60,000 **depending on experience**
