Description:Lockheed Martin is in search of an innovative and talented Systems Engineer to join the Global Security team in Denver, Colorado, as a Systems Engineering Payload Integrator on the P224 team.

The Payload Integrator supporting P224 plays a critical role in ensuring that payloads meet the mission, from the maturation of requirements to the driving of architecture design changes. The primary objective is to develop a fully defined architecture, ensuring full integration of the Payload subsystems across all ground and space vehicle integrated teams.

As a Payload Integrator, you will:
As a Systems Engineer for Systems Integration Team on the P224 program, you will:

• Serve as a payload integration lead
• Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform system level design and decomposition into requirements
• Finalize Payload interface compatibility analyses
• Perform system analysis and interface definition and management/ execution
• Lead studies and system trades for enhanced capabilities • Lead Payload integration risk reduction planning and test execution • Develop plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities while protecting the primary mission
• Lead and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews
• Support verification, validation, and test planning
• Lead failure investigations and anomaly resolution boards
• Seek out new opportunities for incorporating best-practices and standards across Global Security, LM Space, and the industry at-large (tools, concepts, methods, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated capability in requirements and verification (including requirement engineering, requirements management, verification)
• Experience with spacecraft architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space systems at the component through system level
• Knowledge and application of Systems Engineering processes and one or more Systems Integration functions including: a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development c.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies e.) Design reviews
• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., RF, Payload, Electrical, Software, Ground etc.)
• US Citizenship with active TS/SCI or TS with SCI Eligibility (T5 investigation) Security Clearance; The position requires the ability to obtain and hold a TS/SCI security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• 7+ years with spacecraft architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space systems at the component through system level
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
• Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program
• Ability to interact with hardware and software developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
• Knowledge and application of Systems Engineering processes and functions o Prior experience leading major milestone reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR) o Prior experience with satellite systems design, requirements, development, integration, test o Experience with systems architecture design of spacecraft, payload, and ground systems o Experience with Technical Baseline Management o Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
• Ability to get results from teams without direct authority • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
• Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Desired Proficiencies: CAMEO, EPDM, DOORS NexGen

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
