What You Will Be Doing

This position provides a wide range of administrative and clerical support to Classified Program Manager and department staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining leaders' calendars, schedules, conference rooms and ensuring all meeting preparations are made. Proficiency with MS Office Suite to perform various clerical tasks, is required, as well as the ability to utilize travel tools to book and reconcile multiple travel arrangements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills is a must. The position requires the ability to be a self-starter, prioritize workload while working across multiple organizations in a professional, team-spirited manner

Basic Qualifications:
o Ability to obtain and maintain a top secret clearance required

o Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)

o Experience with managing calendars and email accounts.
Desired Skills:
o Ability to provide support to mid-level leaders and department staff.

o Excellent time management skills; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

o Effectively coordinate domestic travel arrangements and process complex expense reports.

o Proficient with travel tools such as Concur/BCD travel reservations and expense reconciliation.

o Working Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, OneDrive, Confluence, VEMO.

o Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities within a wide-spread organization.

o Previous experience as an administrative assistant.

o Willingness to assume increasing levels of responsibility and have a strong desire for continued professional self-improvement.

o Adept at coordinating events ensuring all arrangements are successful.

o Can work independently with minimal direction.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
