This role will provide the opportunity to serve as Deputy Program Manager and Finance Lead for an impactful CPFF Army contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Alongside the program manager, this role will support a program team of 70+ direct and 15+ subcontractor employees with various administrative and financial tasks. This will include ad hoc and unique challenges and opportunities that may arise from leading a team of dynamic professionals.

Includes oversight of all financial operations and support to program management activities, to include regular interface with the Government customer, as well as internal interface with accounting, purchasing, contracts and various corporate staff as needed.

Responsibilities:

This will be a hybrid role with at least 50% time spent onsite at the government facility and options for partial telework flexibility.

• This role provides a growth path for advancement and development into a full-scale project/program management capacity.

• Provides support to the Program Manager in the development and presentation of weekly/monthly/quarterly deliverables.

• Ensure accurate program funds tracking and reporting, MIPR mapping, and invoicing. Tracks and troubleshoots all DSO related actions for the program.

• Reviews monthly actuals versus forecast and provide variance explanations. Closely manages PFA team and coordinates with PMO procurement staff to minimize forecast variances and provide real time updates on the timing of large ODCs.

• Duties include creating and tracking annual fiscal plans, Long Range Plan, reviewing monthly rolling forecast and providing timely updates for associated R&O. Maintain contract EAC, prepare MIPR mapping and contract billing, and monthly financial deliverables. Provide oversight to ensure cost performance against plans and contractual cost obligations are met. Prepare financial input to monthly program management reviews. Manage all subK and procurement funding, tracking, and invoicing.

• Supports timekeeping initiatives for a financially complex and dynamic program to ensure accuracy and avoid cost overruns.

• Comply with financial controls, procedures, system requirements, and forecasting techniques, as directed, to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.

• May prepare ad hoc ROMs or assist with pricing efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or relevant field required.
• 7+ Years of relevant experience in finance, business, and/or project management.
• High level interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to effectively present information to senior leadership in a clear, concise manner
• Ability to identify root causes and solve business problems; isolate trends and identify problems.
• Bring a customer service-oriented approach to management in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with a sustained high level of attention to detail.
• Adhere to the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley and all corporate and contractual policies and procedures as they relate to contract financials.
• Must be well experienced with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT Tables, etc.).
• Ability to understand contracts of various types (T&M, FFP, CPF, etc.)
• Experience working with federal civilian or DOD personnel, including geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders is preferred but not required.
• Experience with accounting software and development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100 - 172,400 USD
