Description
The Proposal Manager is primarily responsible for managing proposal production in support of the company's growth goals, strategic initiatives, and service offerings. It is a highly visible role that works closely with executive leadership, capture managers, group management, and subject matter experts. Expertise and Functions: Responsible for developing and managing the proposal production schedule and coordinating with the Capture Manager and Contracts to deliver on-time, high-quality, winning proposals. Works with Capture Manager to organize, integrate inputs and prepare final proposal. Assists Capture Manager in leading Color Team reviews and incorporating proposal updates. Reviews customer source selection criteria (for DoD, Section L, M, Instruction to Offerors of a Request for Proposal), and develops RFP templates/layouts and compliance matrix. Ensures development and distribution of appropriate proposal-related documentation, including compliance matrices, adherence to style guides, annotated outlines, proposal schedules, writing guidance, and kick-off presentations. Works with Capture Manager to assign and manage content generation assignments to writers to generate proposal inputs. Establishes and maintains communications among geographically dispersed proposal teams, including subcontractors, partners, and vendors, using collaborative tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Redmine etc. Maintains a proposal library of source material, including proposal kickoff templates, sample volumes, executive summaries, past performance citations, etc. Maintains a company process for proposal development to include all templates, policies, methodology and creating a training process and checklists to build additional company proposal managers. Participates in nearly all company submissions to Government and Commercial entities through editing, formatting, compliance checks and proposal/RFI/white paper management. Participates in lessons learned as needed to improve the process. Contributes to the management of the Business Development SharePoint site improving content and resource materials or the organization. Assists in managing the company social media and company webpage content. Support and execute social media/webpage strategies. Create and curate engaging content for company social media platforms and webpage. Monitor social media channels/comments. Analyze social media/webpage metrics and provide regular reports on performance. Update and organize corporate business development materials (flyers, capability briefs, product brochures, etc.) Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent required
- Associate's degree in management or other relevant discipline preferred
Experience:
- 0+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Technical writing and editing experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite to include SharePoint and Teams
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Canva
- Basic photography skills
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and practices
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
