Work you'll do

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Modeling Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in transportation modeling, data science, predictive analytics, and data analytics. This role requires a deep understanding of traffic flow theory, travel demand modeling, and general transportation-related data and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise across the entire infrastructure lifecycle management.
  • Support various engagements, including project delivery, project management, traffic operations, transportation planning, and transportation asset management.
  • Develop and implement advanced transportation models to analyze and predict traffic patterns and travel demand.
  • Utilize data science and predictive analytics to enhance transportation planning and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive transportation solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of transportation analysts and modelers.
  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
  • Actively participate in development of business and vendor relationships
  • Serve as a ""Subject Matter Expert"", adding experienced insights into client challenges
  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
  • Participate in pre-sales, proposal, and RFP initiatives
  • Manage project(s) financials including development of financial plans
  • Provide counseling & coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities and provide input and guidance into the staffing process

We take part in operation services for our clients with emphasis on automation and delivery excellence. Our core capabilities include: IT Operations Delivery & Management, Customer Experience Enhancement, Operations Transformation, transportation modernization, and Emerging Technology platforms such as drones and 5G networks.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8 years of experience in transportation modeling, predictive analytics, data science and/or relevant experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,000 to $208,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
