Currently, Recro is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Cyber Security Engineer ( with Forescout expertise) to join our team in Joint Base Andrew, MD; College Park, MD; Reston, VA; Norfolk, VA; Tampa, FL; or Colorado Springs, CO

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full Forescout platform lifecycle (design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, optimization) for enhanced security posture, visibility, and control.
  • Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Forescout infrastructure (EM, CounterACT, modules) and develop/implement policies for compliance, segmentation, and access control.
  • Perform health checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Forescout; manage upgrades, patches, and system maintenance.
  • Translate security requirements into Forescout configurations and develop automated workflows/playbooks for event response and compliance enforcement.
  • Utilize Forescout for NAC, endpoint/IoT/OT security and integrate with SIEM, scanners, threat feeds, and ticketing systems.
  • Develop/maintain APIs/scripts for security solution data exchange and automation.
  • Leverage Forescout for identification, response, alerting, and reporting of security incidents, anomalies, and policy violations.
  • Participate in incident response with Forescout for enhanced visibility and containment.
  • Configure Forescout for continuous compliance monitoring (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and generate audit/compliance reports.
  • Maintain Forescout documentation, provide training, and stay current with features/trends to proactively optimize and recommend new modules/integrations.


Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of Forescout architecture, components, and functionalities (e.g., Enterprise Manager, CounterACT, Security Policy Manager, Network Module, Endpoint Module, IoT Security Module).
  • Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), and network segmentation techniques.
  • Experience with endpoint security concepts, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and mobile device management (MDM).
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and integration tasks.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Active DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) - Infrastructure Support (IS) certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND prior to start date.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forescout Certified Engineer (FSCE) or other relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience integrating Forescout with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, SentinelOne), vulnerability scanners (e.g., Tenable, Qualys), and other security tools.
  • Experience with IoT/OT security principles and implementing Forescout for industrial control systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud security concepts and integrating Forescout with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
