As an Open-Source Research and Strategy Consultant, you'll use your expertise to help your team assess how alterations will impact business processes and design to develop a strategy plan to evolve and improve your client's capabilities. From unrealized potential to systemic challenges, your team will provide your client with a holistic view of their organization to transform their practices.

You Have:

  • Experience c ond ucting open-source research or market research
  • Ability to ramp up on a range of topics quickly, including emerging te chn ologies, cyber threat intelligence, supply chain risk, foreign policy , finan cia l systems, finan cia l crime, market analysis, best practices analysis, and change management
  • Ability to comprehend complex requirements, ask analytical questions, and find information through open-source or market research to answer those questions
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with strategy consulting or change management consulting for federal government clients
  • Experience with te chn ology scouting, supply chain risk assessments, or cyber threat intelligence
  • Experience c ond ucting outreach to and interviews with subject matter experts from the private and public sector
  • Experience with open-source research and ubiquitous te chn ical surveillance
  • Experience researching in a foreign language on websites outside the United States
  • Knowledge of finan cia l, economic, or investment intelligence
  • Ability to leverage data, analytics, and visualization sof tware tools to prototype solutions addressing challenging client questions rapidly
  • Master's degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Linguistics, Economics, Library Studies, Cultural Studies, or Regional Studies

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $53,000.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
