System Administrator
The Opportunity:

We're looking for a systems administrator with IT architecture expertise to help us with a variety of systems administrator functions, including analyzing and resolving problems asso cia ted with servers, hardware, and sof tware.
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You'll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in cloud computing. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You Have:
- Experience providing IT support for mission-critical systems with both Unix and Windows platforms
- Experience in network and system administration with managing mission-critical IT systems
- Experience maintaining accreditation packages and standalone networks
- Experience creating and maintaining system images, performing system builds, and with sof tware licensing management
- Experience with data backup solutions and disa ster recovery processes
- TS / SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with multiple storage management solutions such as LUN, NAS, SAN, and Cloud storage
- Experience with virtualization and containerization such as VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of regulations and standards such as NIST or FISMA, and RMF
- Ability to work evenings or weekends
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or a related field
- Network or System Administration Certification such as CompTIA Network+ or Micro sof t Certified Solutions Expert ( MCSE ) Certification
