The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Data Systems Supervisor to support our government customer located in Kekaha, Hawai'i.
Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Data Systems Section. Provide the delivery of quality data and products to meet all operational requirements and support operations ensuring full compliance with all provisions of the contract Performance Work Statement (PWS) Department 38 (Data Systems) and its associated references.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
Primary work location is an Office Environment based at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) and a computer room environment. Office conditions are varied and includes physical tasks including lifting up to 10-25 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds. Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, an office laboratory environment. Occasional extended work hours and infrequent weekend/holiday activity in support of operations. Can anticipate occasional calls after hours to coordinate emergent mission change requirements or in response to building equipment disruptions.

Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Data Systems Section. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all activities of personnel assigned to the Data Systems Section in accordance with Daily Operation Schedules, Maintenance Schedules, and Operations Forecasts as amended by PMRF.
- Provide supervision and administrative management for employees assigned to the Data Systems Section including monitoring and reviewing employee performance and administering guidance and counseling as required to maintain a safe working environment and provide efficient customer support. Schedules and coordinates required training for employees to attain and maintain required certifications for the various positions staffed in Data Systems and other training required, ensuring that all Performance Work Statement requirements are met.
- Attends and participates in various Operational Scheduling Meetings, Configuration Control Board Meetings, Operation Briefs, Program Presentations, Hot-Wash, and Lesson Learned meetings etc. Ensures key personnel assigned to the Data Systems Branch attend the same sessions as required.
- Assists in the planning and coordination of long-range operational project support involving Data Systems participation to assure ability to meet planned customer requirements. Propose alternative actions to resolve identified conflicts.
- Interfaces and coordinates Data Systems Section activities with designated Government Task Managers and Koa Lani Management to ensure mutual awareness of the Data Systems status and planned activities.
- Administers the Security and Safety programs for the Data Systems Section, keeping Senior Management, HRO, FSO, and EH&S Manager immediately notified and kept appraised of all issues, enforces project work and safety rules.
- Develops, maintains and enforces, all Procedures relevant to the Data Systems Section.
- Participates in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of Data Systems related Preventive Maintenance program, Cybersecurity tasks, IT maintenance (modifications or upgrades) for equipment, and input and updates to the Product Data Catalog (DPC).
- Ensures completion and timely delivery of all Branch CDRL's required by the PWS.
- Provide regular updates and briefings of all activities and noteworthy items of interest which need to flow up the company and customer chain of command.
- Ensure assigned employee required reports are complete and submitted on time.
- Support IDIQ TI Proposals, Contract Mods and negotiations as required.
- Oversees all Budget and Procurement activities of the Data Systems Section (Purchase Request, VISA, Travel; Petty Cash, Check Requests, and Issue Slips) and ensures compliance with all Customer, Corporate and Project policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION :
- High School or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in the specific field or related field is preferred.
- In the absence of formal education, the candidate must have at least three years (3) years' experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Demonstrate ability and experience in managing the handling and delivery of quality data, scheduling work, Cybersecurity and related equipment. Knowledgeable in handling classified data.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience in handling data for Fleet exercises and Test and Evaluation events preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and excellent interpersonal communication skills required.
- Must be proficient in report writing, gathering and analyzing statistics, and using Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE :
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Secret clearance is required. (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.)
