The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Materials Reclamation Support/Senior Logistician to work on our government project in Washington DC. They will support PMS 368 in the planning, coordination, and execution of material reclamation efforts in support of CVN 68 STOP availability, Inactivation, Defueling, and Dismantlement and Disposal. The logistician will play a key role in shaping reclamation strategy, developing schedules and material lists, and ensuring alignment with programmatic objectives and Navy policy.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop program level briefs and related documents.
  • Identify, track, and prioritize government-furnished equipment (GFE) and other reusable material for removal, inspection, and disposition.
  • Develop and maintain material lists for reclamation.
  • Review, comment, and provide input for draft DoD, Navy, and PEO Carriers policies, directives, and instructions.
  • Maintain competence in Navy Ship Inactivation and IPS elements, specifically related to DoN and NAVSEA policy and initiatives, including those from NAVSEA's recent Sustainment Organization (SEA 06), NAVSEA 04, and PSM requirements.
  • Maintain competence in the DoD and DoN financial arena, priorities, and processes to document and brief PPBS elements, including POM inputs and support.


Qualifications:
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of experience in life cycle sustainment project and product management
  • Navy experience
  • Aircraft Carrier experience a plus
