Palantir Application Developer - Solution Specialist

Work you'll do

The Palantir Application Developer will utilize frontend engineering skills to build applications and interfaces for our clients. You will work with a team of engineers to address client challenges and provide UI/UX solutions to technical and nontechnical audiences.

The GPS AI & Data offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of frontend software engineering experience
• 2+ years of app development experience using Palantir Workshop
• 2+ years of experience working cross-functionally with Palantir data scientists and engineers
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances necessary for the role
• Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of prior professional services or federal consulting experience
• Strong frontend coding skills with proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript and React
• Active secret clearance or higher
• Creativity and innovation - desire to learn and apply new technologies, products, and libraries
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
