We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to support USAF USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in administering and maintaining Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.
- Secure systems and applications in multiple infrastructure needs (i.e. cloud, hypervisors, bare metal.
- Provide IT data and automation support to organizations/agencies with USSTRATCOM's operational, functional, and technical requirements.
- Support J2 personnel with developing well-defined requirements for IT systems, plans, and capabilities.
- Create, maintain, and advise on security Authority to Operate (ATO) packages.
- Provide government with evaluations, studies, procedures and designs to assist in efficient and effective operations.
- Recommend cybersecurity policies to assist in cybersecurity and information assurance legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements; including security technology, and operations that must trace to written policy that directs what is to be protected, to what degree, and what the consequences are for violations of that protection.
- Research, analyst, and document CCMDE Intelligence IT requirements.
- Assist in Developing advanced concepts and activities associated with the management of technical programs business process and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) needed to drive Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) improvements.
- Audit data on J2 owned systems, in accordance with (IAW) policies and procedures and provide documented audit trails.
Required Qualifications:
- Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification or current DoD 8140 certification is required.
- Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience using Xacta for ATO or similar security application and with NIST, DoD, and IC security processes and regulations
- At leave 5 years of experience with Windows and Linux system administration, including patching, deploying applications, securing operating systems, and documenting changes through a change management process
- Experience working with Intelligence Support to Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3)
