Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Test Instrumentation and Lethal Mechanisms Portfolio Manager. The Test Instrumentation and Lethal Mechanisms portfolio specializes in development and production of flight data acquisition, telemetry, and electronic fusing products for DoD and Aerospace customers.

The Portfolio Manager is responsible for:

• Influencing program team personnel to exceed expectations in their roles,
  
• Overseeing the portfolio’s programs to ensure delivery of products and proposals on time.
  
• Delivering on mission solutions to our customers and financial commitments to the business
  
• Identifying business bottlenecks to improve manufacturing and overall execution efficiencies.
  

The Portfolio Manager is a member of the RF Systems Division leadership team and will provide guidance and leadership to program staff as well as reporting status to Division leadership.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and group meetings with the program teams to check status, provide guidance, and work through any issues.
• Interface with customers to develop relationships and ensure the highest quality of service
  
• Provide business expertise to proposals and ensure submissions align with mission, financial, and Division strategic objectives
  
• Provide solutions to identified deficiencies within the portfolios planning and execution
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering plus 8 plus years of relevant experience and 4 plus years of experience in supervising and leading cross disciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, and customers to deliver hardware / software solutions or Masters in Business or Engineering plus 4 plus years of relevant experience and 4 plus years of experience in supervising and leading cross disciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, and customers to deliver hardware / software solutions  
  
• Proven background in building strategic relationships with internal / external customers while collaborating with company / industry leaders to gather cutting edge solutions.
  
• Demonstrated experience in leading development or production teams to develop hardware / software solutions.
  
• Must have strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  
• Must be a US citizen and possess and maintain an active secret clearance or able to obtain and maintain a final SECRET clearance.
  
• Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.

Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
