Leidos in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is looking for talent in the networking field. In FY23 Leidos was awarded the Homeland Enterprise Information Technology Secure Services and Support (HEITS) follow-on contract to support and enhance the DHS networks, Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified-Local Area Network (C-LAN).

We are searching for a qualified candidate to bring their troubleshooting and organizational skills to support our DHS Head Quarters location and maintaining rugged edge networking solutions in support of key principals within the organization. We are looking for someone with a background in Cisco networking, though Juniper experience is also valued in this position.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support DHS Classified IT infrastructure data, voice, and video systems.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve System events and tickets. As well as update and configure equipment while maintaining a configuration management process throughout the systems life cycle.
  • Provide remote operations and administration as well as some local on-site maintenance as required in support of secure voice, data, and video services.


Basic Qualifications
  • Must possess a US Top Secret Clearance for consideration.
  • BS degree and 2-4 years experience OR 6+ years’ experience with Desktop/Network Support and equipment configurations, or college equivalent.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, Active Roles, Configuration Manager.
  • Desire to work in a diverse, dynamic, and demanding work environment. With the capability to work both independently and with internal/external teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, with a focus on Customer Engagement.


Preferred Qualifications
  • A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or equivalents.
  • Experience providing support to VIP customers.
  • DHS or other government contract experience.

Pay Range: Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
