Description

SAIC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Deputy Upgraded Early Warning (UEWR) Incremental Sustainment Services Lead in Colorado Springs, Colorado to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. This position pertains to the AN/FPS-132, UEWR Radars and supporting systems. In support of the government program office, the Deputy is the responsible for assisting the lead, responding to direction and managing the integration and completion of all project activities. Leads a multi-functional team of mission, hardware and software engineering, sustainment, training, logistics, security (including cyber) and support specialists responsible for overall system operational availability.

Job Duties:
  • Managing large-scale operational sustainment projects, to include cost estimating and management, schedule development, performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Delivering logistics support services for geographically and internationally dispersed operations.
  • Managing large-scale Agile or DevSecOps teams/projects, to include support to backlog grooming, cost estimating, baseline and risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Leading waterfall to agile transformations, designed to deliver Minimum Viable Products in a consistent cadence.
  • Managing Digital and Model-based Systems Engineering efforts.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study with 14+ years' relevant experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to collaborate with and lead 10+ member, multi-disciplinary teams on a wide range of projects.
  • Experience managing teams/projects acquiring, maintaining, and sustaining integrated solutions for space surveillance or other national security space mission systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile and its processes, to include Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in national security space operations and joint operations.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Jira admin experience.
  • Experience being a Product Owner, scum master, RTE.
  • SW Design Experience.
  • Experience creating and updating processes.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
