Job Summary:

TCS is seeking a Logistics Analyst (Logistician I or II) to support the NAVAIR Aircraft Gun Systems program at NSWC Crane. This role will provide logistics management and inventory control support for the fielding and sustainment of aircraft gun systems and related equipment. The position involves hands-on inventory tracking, requisition processing, and material movement across various military systems and supply processes.
Essential Functions:
  • Maintain and track inventory for over 1,000 line items, including fielding equipment, support packages, and locally managed supply.
  • Update and manage inventory records in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and local systems.
  • Manage material movement via maintenance induction requests, request for issue procedures, and DD Form 1149 and DD Form 1348-1A transactions.
  • Process MILSTRIP requisitions, including development of purchase request documentation, order tracking, follow-ups, and receipt processing.
  • Research and utilize logistics data from FLIS, fleet inventory systems, and shipment tracking tools.
  • Manage and maintain compliance for HAZMAT inventory and calibrated/tool control inventory.
  • Interface with government logistics personnel to ensure timely support and accountability.
  • Follow local procedures for documentation, reporting, and logistics best practices.
Experience and Skills:
  • At least 2 years of related logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Experience with military logistics systems and documentation, including MILSTRIP, DD1149, and DD1348-1A.
  • Familiarity with N-ERP or equivalent inventory systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize logistics databases and online tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal oversight.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous DoD or NAVAIR logistics experience.
  • Familiarity with FLIS, DLA systems, or supply tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of HAZMAT compliance or calibrated tool control procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to chest height.
  • Must pass all required background and security checks.
Travel:

Occasional CONUS travel may be required.
