Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Benefits Specialist II, to support business units across all company divisions.

Summary: The Benefits Specialist II is responsible for administering and managing the company's employee benefits and retirement programs. This role ensures that all benefits programs are compliant with regulations and effectively communicated to employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • Oversee the day to day administration of the retirement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits and retirement plans.
  • Assist employees with benefits and retirement plan enrollment and answer any questions regarding their benefits.
  • Coordinate with broker and insurance providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and update systems as necessary. This includes but is not limited to: reconciling monthly invoices and ensuring employees are deducted for their benefit elections.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing benefits programs and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and distribute benefits communications, such as newsletters and informational materials.
  • Take the lead in administering the annual benefits open enrollment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in employee benefits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits and retirement plan administration.
  • Experience administering a self-funded medical plan.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Paylocity and Bswift.
  • Certification in Benefits Administration (e.g., CEBS, PHR).

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $71,000 to $81,000 per year. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

  • Uses vision to view screens, create and review documents; requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Capable of using a keyboard effectively.
  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
  • Office environment. Must be able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
