Amentum is seeking a Support Services Manager to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. The Support Services Manager must have the ability to manage and oversee up to 45 contract technicians to support the AUTEC Schedule of Operations working with various department managers and also have an aptitude for Underwater Targets, Torpedoes, SCUBA Diving, Launch and Recovery, Calibration and Weight Handling Programs on the AUTEC Project in support of the United States Navy (USN) Fleet Operations. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Quality Control and supervision over the NAVSEA MK-30 Underwater Target Program.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations and management of Support Services Department Managers in support of the program.
- Manage all of the Ordnance Operations on the AUTEC Project for accuracy to include handling, transporting, storage, accountability, facilities maintenance to NAVSEA/NAVAIR Standards and the writing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)'s.
- Responsible for oversight of handling, preparation, post run and transport of exercise torpedoes and associated equipment in accordance with NAVAIR/NAVSEA/NAVFAC guidelines on the AUTEC project.
- Maintain the MK-46/MK-54 REXTORP IMA Program for AUTEC.
- Oversee the active Launcher Systems used on the AUTEC Project to include the MK-30 Telescopic Target Launching System, (TTLS), MK-59-Torpedo Tube System, Mk-32-Mod-17 Surface Tube System, Smokey Sam Launcher System, MK-146 Helicopter Launcher System and MOD-1 Helicopter Recovery Systems.
- Provide Administrative support services in the Calibration Lab and accuracy of the AUTEC Calibration Program.
- Oversight of the Weight Handling Programs for both shore and at-sea per NAVFAC P-307 and 589 standards to include all Overhead CAT-3 Cranes, Mobile Cranes CAT-1/CAT-4, and Ordnance and non-ordnance lifting devices.
- Responsible for supporting diving operations conducted on the AUTEC Project.
- Maintain the Target Facility (Bldg.1602) to NAVSEA Standards, including security criteria.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of hydraulic, mechanical and/or electronic systems (assembly and disassembly) technology experience.
OR
- 6 years of related military training/experience in hydraulic, mechanical and/or electronic systems (assembly and disassembly) technology will be considered in lieu of degree.
AND
- 3 years of experience managing 10+ personnel.
- 3 years of experience managing, handling, storing, transporting and recovering ordnance.
- Must be able to complete the Ordnance Qualification and Certifications within 3 months of employment.
- Knowledge and familiarity of crane operations and maintenance.
- Familiarity and experience with the Ordnance Information System.
- Analytically proficient in either mechanical and electronic arenas.
- Analytical skills to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
- Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.
- Valid driver's license and a U.S. passport will be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Crane Operators Overhead Cat 3 (NAVFAC) certifications are preferred.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in MK-30 Target Theory of Operations is preferred.
- 5+ years of related experience in management roles is preferred.
