Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 4+ years of experience in aerospace engineering
- Experience with DoD sustainment and acquisition processes
- Experience with manufacturing processes and materials science
- Knowledge of standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD or ASME
- Knowledge of DoD Technical Data Package ( TDP ) creation and DoD acquisition requirements generation
- Ability to review and understand technical drawings and identify critical characteristics
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for mechanical systems and components
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to gather necessary information and resolve technical issues, and work with and present to senior ranking offi cia ls
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Nice If You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience working with airworthiness standards and regulations in the Air Force, including MIL-HDBK-516 and Joint Service Specification Guides ( JSSGs )
- Experience evaluating TDP, Source Approval Requests ( SAR ) , First Article Inspection ( FAI ) reports, and other asso cia ted documentation submitted through a Records Management System to ensure adherence to specifications and acceptability of delivered items
- Experience with SysML and digital engineering processes and tools, such as Cameo
- Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Experience with DoD Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness ( OSS & E )
- Ability to coordinate and manage Engineering Technical Assistance Request ( ETAR ) processes and procedures, including AFMC guidelines and the use of AF Form 107 and AF Form 202
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering
