Title: PowerApps Developer (Power Platform Solution Architect)

Location: Arlington, VA (1 onsite/7 remote)

Duration: Multi-year contract

Start date: June

Clearance: Secret clearance

Salary: Please provide your salary requirement

Work hours: Monday through Friday, 0600-1630, except on federal holidays

This position is for a proposal with the Army National Guard Bureau (new program). We expect the award around the June timeframe with positions to start soon after.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years total experience with 2+ years within DoD environments

  • 3+ years designing and implementing Microsoft Power Platform solutions

  • 2+ years developing Model-Driven Apps with DataVerse integration

  • 2+ years creating user interfaces through Power Pages

  • 3+ years implementing business process automation using Power Automate

  • 2+ years developing dashboards and visualizations

  • 2+ years configuring security roles and data access controls

  • 2+ years testing and optimizing applications across environments

  • 1+ years providing end-user training for complex applications

  • For APMO position: 2+ years managing acquisition/requirements data


Required Technical Skills:

  • 3+ years Microsoft Power Platform suite proficiency

  • 2+ years SharePoint architecture and customization

  • 3+ years Microsoft Office Suite advanced usage

  • 2+ years Power Query for data transformation

  • 1+ years AI Builder implementation


Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience, with 2 years within DoD

  • Secret Security Clearance Required


Required Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate


Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Solutions Expert


Security Requirements:

  • Secret Security Clearance required

  • Compliance with DoD, FedRAMP, and NIST security standards

  • Demonstrated experience with AT/OPSEC requirements including:

    • AT Level 1 training completion

    • Successfully passing background checks for installation access

    • Experience with security awareness training programs

    • Proven ability properly handling sensitive information




Communication and Organizational Skills:

  • Demonstrated collegiate-level writing skills

  • Proven ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts

  • Experience working within military organizational structures

  • Track record of effective interaction with stakeholders at various levels

  • History of timely and accurate reporting and documentation


Work Environment:

  • Place of Performance: Army National Guard Bureau, 111 S George Mason Dr, Arlington, VA 22204

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 0600-1630, except on federal holidays

  • Telework/remote work available as specified for certain positions
