The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Specialist to join the Navy Command, Control, Computing, and Intelligence (C3I) division. As a Configuration Management Specialist, you'll manage the software and hardware configurations of Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft systems and associated ground support equipment. This position requires you to work on-site in the Austin, TX office three days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement CM plans and processes
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to align CM practices with project goals
  • Apply configuration and data management control disciplines to design, development, and support of hardware, software, and other complex systems
  • Establish and manage change control processes
  • Oversee configuration status accounting
  • Plan and conduct configuration audits
  • Provide training and guidance and to developers for configuration / data management
  • Evaluate and recommend tools that support and automate processes


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field (science or engineering discipline)
  • 5+ years' experience in CM role
  • Proven experience with development, execution, and refinement of CM plans and processes
  • Active DoD SECRET security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to support multiple projects and priorities effectively


Desired:
  • Utilization and management of CM tools to store, track, and management configuration items
  • Familiarity with C4ISR systems
  • Familiarity with the DoD Systems Engineering Process and MIL-HDBK-61 Configuration Management Guidance
  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$61,600 - 129,300 USD
