Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Test Engineer to join our team at the Smithfield and
Lemont Furnace, PA sites.
Position Responsibilities:
Apply engineering discipline and practices to development, execution, and oversight of test activities on all assigned programs.
Apply electrical principles in the troubleshooting of test anomalies and failures for assigned programs in support of the test technician team.
Develop test plans, procedures, and equipment designs to aid qualification and production level functional testing of electronic devices.
Assist management in technical lead engineer role providing mentoring, assistance and checking of assigned Test Engineering mentees.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of related work experience.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Electronics testing experience in defense or aerospace
Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and failure reporting experience.
Environmental production and qualification level testing experience including Mil-STD-810G and Mil-STD-461F.
Non-conformances processing experience in TIPQA or Costpoint.
Radio Frequency (RF) testing experience including antennas, amplifiers, and receivers.
DIT-MCO wire harness testing and programming experience.

Lead (level 4): 113,900 – 164,450
Lead (level 5): 136,000 – 196,650
