ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics (AFFL), a division of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Logistics Operations Project Manager for upcoming work that is expected to be awarded and support the DLA Air Force Industrial Product-Support Vendor (IPV) Contract.

Position can be remote but preferred location is Oklahoma City, OK. Travel required.

Job Description:

• Responsible to the Program Director for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company projects or subsystems of major programs

• Coordinates the preparation of business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract

• Acts as secondary contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer and ASRC Federal leaders to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance

• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications

• Establishes and implements tactical and operational plans with significant impact on the achievement of the program results

• Responsible for improving upon entire processes or systems within program, leveraging on personal past experiences and in-depth understanding of best practices in the marketplace that may improve the competitive position of ASRC Federal

• Problems and issues faced are frequently complex and multi-dimensional, requiring broad-based consideration of variables that impact areas outside of immediate responsibility

• May conduct briefings with senior leaders both internal and customers

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience with 3 years in a leadership role, or 15 years of equivalent experience with at least 5 of those in a leadership role

• Project Management training, PMP Certification or equivalent desired

• Requires broad management and leadership skills to lead large teams across multiple locations

• Has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the program/project

• Utilizes extensive analysis to seek understanding of problems and develop solutions

• Works to influence others to accept program's view/practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices and approaches

• Experience developing mid to long-term plans on how to optimize his/her project/program and the talent required to execute strategies for the area of responsibility

Job Specific Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years DoD supply chain management experience

• Possess excellent working knowledge of DoD supply chain management systems, concepts, and customer support processes (i.e. MILSTRIP, EDI, EBS, WMS, etc.)

• Significant experience working with or for DLA to manage and provide customer service operations to DOD customers

• Direct experience with the USAF Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) process and procedures with regards to delivery of repair parts to the production line

• Possess current working knowledge of USAF logistics and supply chain policies, systems and procedures

• Warehouse management experience

• Direct experience managing multi-million dollar inventories

• Have or ability to obtain SECRET Clearance

• Ability to pass background investigation and be allowed access to US Military Installations
