Evolver Federal is seeking a Network Solutions Architect to satisfy a requirement for a potential government client.

Responsibilities:

The Network Solutions Architect will lead the service recovery process for major incidents and P1 tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues and escalations.

They will manage and mentor a team of SMEs, review root cause analyses, and ensure the completion of corrective and preventive actions. Additionally, the architect will provide consultancy on service improvement programs and automation opportunities, review high level and low-level designs, and acceptance test plans for ongoing projects. They will also oversee critical changes in the technology domain as part of the change management process, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:
  • An active Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or Business; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
  • 15 years' experience with routing protocols as well as lead design of network solutions
  • Cisco Certified (Active/Not Expired) Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Routing & Switching certification.
  • Must be local to the National Capital region to work hybrid/onsite in Washington, DC


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in network architecture and design
  • Proven track record in managing major incidents and service recovery processes
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in the Federal/IT Industry
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with automation and service improvement programs
  • Knowledge of change management processes and best practices
  • Demonstrated experience in leading/training a team of SMEs
  • Experience solving major incidents and leading incident teams
  • Experience with escalating incidents while reviewing/ finding root causes for incidents is required
  • Experience in High/Low Level Design and Acceptance Test plans is required
  • Demonstrated Completion of corrective/ preventative causes is required
