HOW A TRUCK DRIVER, HEAVY TRUCK WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Office is responsible to perform Sponsor's office moves, which occur primarily within the WMA, but also at locations within the continental US
• Truck drivers will typically interact with other warehouseman and other Sponsor office warehouseman, as well as Sponsor administrators. Operates at a fast-paced operation
• Drivers will also perform long-haul trucking within the continental US. Long-haul trip lengths typically range from same day out/same day in, to overnight, to one week or two weeks. Two-person team drivers operate on a non-stop basis (one sleeps/one drives)
• Drivers must continuously demonstrate safe driving and material handling skills, and adhere to local, state and federal driving regulations. Drivers must be proficient in the use of general material handling equipment to include: pallet jacks, hand-trucks, J-Bars, forklifts, crow bars, stretch wrap dispensers (manual and automatic) and tape dispensers, and truck related equipment, such as: cargo tie-down straps, chains, tarps, crow bars, roadside flares, and all associated truck equipment and GPS and other satellite transponders
• Drivers must seek to develop and maintain positive rapport with co-workers, Customers and managers

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED
• Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly
• Preferred Skills: Office truck drivers are responsible for loading, driving, and unloading trucks throughout the continental US. They must demonstrate ability to safely operate all vehicles and material handling equipment such as fork lifts and pallet jacks
• Location: Main Warehouse - Springfield, Virginia
• US Citizenship Required
