Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense. We are seeking a Computer User Support Specialist to support our customer's operations at Offutt AFB, NE. This effort provides our Government customer with intelligence support services. This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with NC2/ESI, SAP STO eligibility, and CI polygraph eligibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver IT support through phone, in-person, and email channels to address user needs
  • Create and refine Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen user engagement
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues within desktop computing environments
  • Assist users with navigating systems, utilizing applications, and resolving technical questions
  • Record and maintain documentation of common issues and solutions to streamline future support efforts
  • Work collaboratively with IT teams to escalate and address complex technical challenges
  • Provide user training and guidance on system features, tools, and best-use practices
  • Maintain accurate logs of support tickets, issue resolutions, and recurring technical concerns


Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • US Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI, NC2/ESI, SAP STO Eligibility, pass a CI polygraph examination

Required Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience with and/or education in IT customer support; such as telephone, in-person, and email
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience with and/or education developing TTP/SOP to support end user engagement
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience with and/or education troubleshooting hardware/software issues on a desktop environment

Education and Certifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification or current DoD 8140 certification

The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and the public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
