Job Title: Construction Superintendent – Chain-Link Fencing
Location: Andersen Air Force Base, Guam
**Must be a US National or authorized to work in the US.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with specialized expertise in chain-link fencing to lead on-site operations at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. This role is responsible for managing all fencing-related construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with specifications and base standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision: Oversee daily on-site chain-link fencing installations and repairs. Ensure quality craftsmanship and adherence to specs.
Planning & Coordination: Develop work schedules with the project team. Coordinate subcontractors, crews, and material deliveries.
Quality Control: Inspect fencing work for proper alignment, durability, and spec compliance. Address deficiencies promptly.
Communication: Serve as main point of contact for fencing scope. Provide regular updates, maintain daily logs, and progress reports.
Resource Management: Efficiently allocate labor, equipment, and materials. Track usage and request resupplies as needed.
Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA and base safety standards. Ensure all crew members use proper PPE and follow best practices.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including as-built drawings and change orders. Support final project closeout.
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience as a Construction Superintendent with a strong background in chain-link fencing.
Experience working on military or government construction projects preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read construction drawings and manage fencing layout.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Must have a valid passport and be able to obtain access to a U.S. military base.
Work Environment:
Outdoor job site on a U.S. military installation. Exposure to weather, physical labor, and extended hours may be required.
