The Opportunity:
Located in King George, VA; within CACI's C5I work area, you will have the opportunity to support NSWCDD and the U.S. Navy and USMC programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Architecting and developing Navy and USMC combat systems including missions and capabilities definition, operational requirements, functional allocation, model and simulations, testing, integration, and operational deployment.
  • Development of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products as well as other architectural representations of Track Management and link functions.
  • Defining and developing capability requirement documents, capability production documents, system engineering plans, system requirements documents, system design documents, interface design documents and specifications.
  • Improve the planning and decision-making process utilizing engineering techniques and mathematical methods.
  • Understand of the engineering process, systems engineering principles, and technical processes.
  • Understand user needs analysis/breakdown, task allocation, solution design, solution creation and solution testing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products, model based system engineering (MBSE) tools, and collaboration tools for requirement development and design.


Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology.
  • Need to have the ability to obtain and maintain, at minimum, a Secret Level Security Clearance. Active Secret Security Clearance is a plus.


  • Junior Systems Engineer - 0 to 2 years experience of combined general and specialized experience of the noted responsibilities
  • Intermediate Systems Engineer - 3 to 7 years experience of combined general and specialized experience of the noted responsibilities
  • Senior Systems Engineer - 7+ years experience of combined general and specialized experience of the noted responsibilities


Desired:
  • Experience in C++, Java, and/or Python programming languages.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and SAFE Agile principles.
  • Active Secret level clearance.
  • Experience with U.S. Navy, USMC, or similar Combat System


This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100 - 172,400 USD
