CGI is seeking strong Business Consultant with Presales experience for our Advantage solutions engineering team. As a Partner you will be responsible for leading product presentations, responding to proposals, leading discovery calls, performing competitor analysis, and staying engaged with the Advantage Product Management team to help evolve the future features of the solution.
Candidate should be flexible to work in Hybrid model from any of our CGI offices.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Product Presentation: The solutions engineering Partner will participate in and lead Advantage Overview presentations, and with time learn areas of Advantage to support the team including Business Intelligence and Performance Budgeting. As a confident speaker who has fantastic interpersonal skills, the Business Analyst will understand the clients needs and then help them understand how Advantage will help solve the needs.
Proposal: The solutions engineering Partners will learn Advantage functionality and use this knowledge to participate in proposal responses including functional checklists that require a Y/N response and supporting comments to justify the response. It is critical to research assigned topic areas, be self-reliant to seek out subject matter experts to assist with responses as needed. In addition, proposals require narrative responses which will require strong writing skills to create a compelling solution for the client.
Discovery Calls: The solutions engineering Partners will lead discovery calls with existing and new clients to understand how they do business today and what efficiencies can be gained by implementing Advantage as a whole or specific areas of the solution. The intelligence gathered through detailed conversation and documentation that the analyst will be responsible for will be critical for the presentation.
Competitor Analysis: The solutions engineering Partners will research and stay aware of the ERP competitive landscape. Gathering information, presenting it to the team internally, and using the information is key to an effective presentation to clients. The analyst will help clients understand why Advantage is the best solution for them and why it is in their best interest to do business with CGI.
Product Direction: The solutions engineering Partners will stay engaged with the Product Management team to understand features coming up in future releases and help advocate for industry best practices for the solution.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Proficient in gathering requirements and working with business owners.
Expert in Requirement documentation and articulating them with design, development, and testing teams.
Expert in writing
Ability to organize and manage learning and self-development
Excellent communication and thought leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types.
Undergraduate degree in Business/IT
5+years of Presales business analysis experience
Desirable Skills
Strong written and oral communication skills

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400 - $164,600.
