You will be the Contract Management professional, supporting the THAAD Program pursuits with contract administration, negotiations, metrics, and future contract planning. Our team is responsible for delivering exceptional contract management expertise to drive business growth and success.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contract Management professional, you will be responsible for performing contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration through contract closeout.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing business advice and guidance to and coordinating with other functions, including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance
• Serving as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives
• Developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, referring to policies and practices for guidance
• Coordinating solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance, ensuring contractual compliance with all laws and regulations
• Leading and supporting audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance
• Reviewing and evaluating customer requests for proposal or revisions to contracts, providing risk assessments and offering alternative approaches to mitigate risks
• Evaluating and coordinating proposals, investigating and reconciling significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Should be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment
Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships
Must be able to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, performance-based payment plans, etc.
Must have excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
The qualified individual must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen
Ability to travel as required for this position
Desired Skills:
Prior Contracts Negotiation experience
Prior Contracts experience working with MDA (Missile Defense Agency) or prior work experience working THAAD
Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) experience
Familiarity with the IWTA system and related policies and procedures
Proven experience negotiating and administering a variety of fixed price type (FFP, FPIF) and cost type (CPFF, CPIF) contracts
Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
