Program Overview

Supports the U. S. Air Force by providing processes and tools to enable the enterprise division and its customers to acquire, develop, manage, transform, inspect, store, distribute, and maintain technical data. Recognized as the authority in technical data management, the program sustains two Air Force Enterprise systems.

About The Role

Peraton is currently hiring an experienced Software Developer - Test/Web Applications for it's Product Data Systems Support program.

Location: On-site at Robins AFB, GA required.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and develop automated testing software.
  • Conduct a compliant validation process for quality information technology systems which require formal validation documentation (including standard operating procedures) under appropriate federal regulations.
  • Coordinate activities with clients, programmers/developers, and operating personnel.
  • Identify current and anticipated requirements for compliant computerized operations and suggest methods for the identification, implementation and maintenance of the procedures, actions, and documentation necessary to ensure compliance according to the appropriate federal and international regulations which govern the applications.
  • Report on the status of validation activities to fulfill regulatory requirements.
  • Keep abreast of changing federal and international regulatory requirements, government audit policies, and the availability of current techniques.
  • Be self-motivated, self-supervisory, results oriented.
  • Be required to communicate effectively both internally with colleagues and externally with customers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.
  • Demonstrated experience with software testing, web applications and services.
  • Experience with reviewing requirements, identifying / documenting defects, performing root cause analysis, regression testing, and other duties related to software QA testing.
  • Knowledge of software lifecycle processes, including infrastructure design, development, QA testing, and deployment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly present complex technical approaches and findings.
  • Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point).
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain U.S Department of Defense (DoD) National Agency Check (NAC) clearance for a Common Access Card (CAC).
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Functional knowledge of Structure Query Language (SQL).
  • Familiarity with at least one type of scripting language (PowerShell, VBA (Office Macros)/VB Scripts, Bash, etc.).
  • Technical experience with testing both COTS and GOTS software applications.
  • Knowledge with bug tracking software to track, manage, and document identified bugs.
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience.
  • Experience designing test solutions to complex applications.

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
