What You'll Get to Do:
CACI is looking for a Mid-Level Specialized Radio Frequency (RF) or Combat Systems (CS) Engineer in support of the Navy, MSC, USCG or similar surface ship vessels. You will be working to solve various technical challenges concerning topside equipment placement of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems onboard LPD and/or LHA class amphibious vessels. Utilizing your knowledge and understanding of these systems, you will work to integrate all topside equipment while adjusting placement to minimize spectrum interference. Expect to develop and review various types of technical documentation.
More About the Role:
• Determining placement of C5ISR systems onboard ships (to include auxiliary support systems and cabling), review of preliminary and functional design documentation, and development of ship system specifications
• Review integrated topside equipment layout and minimize spectrum interference.
• Review and analysis of C5ISR systems for technical data packages (TDP) development in support of design and construction of Navy and commercial vessels
• Provide engineering services support to including Spec writing, design, calculations, outfitting design, marine drawing, selected record drawing (SRD) updates, ship checks and other technical work document preparation in accordance with drawing standards and good marine design practice
• Self-Starter, multi-task capability, technically savvy, interpersonal skills, team player and ability to market our CACI team capabilities
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• BS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management or related degree
• 15+ years of experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management, or relevant equivalent experience
• Experience with applicable code and standards (e.g., ABS, NVR, SOLAS, ASTM, ANSI, and NFPA), survivability design, and radio frequency (RF) interference
A "Secret" clearance is required to begin employment. For this position, CACI has the ability to provide clearance sponsorship for qualified individuals.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
