Financial Intelligence Exploitation Analyst, Senior

As a Finan cia l Intelligence Exploitation Analyst, you'll use your spe cia lized te chn ical and functional experience and attention to detail to develop insights, understanding, recommendations, and reports to give your client the actionable information and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to protect our national security and inform our nation's leaders.

As a Finan cia l Intelligence Exploitation Analyst on our team, you will leverage your understanding of international money laundering, threat finance, sanctions evasion, corruption and kleptocracy, and other illicit finance typologies to guide our clients' investigations, analysis, enforcement efforts, or partnership e nga gements. You will evaluate finan cia l data to identify and analyze indicators of money laundering activity. To develop deep finan cia l intelligence insights, you will explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources, including intelligence reporting, open-source information, regulatory filings, finan cia l tra nsa ction data, blockchain tra nsa ction tracing, and more. You will validate information to support evidentiary and analytical standards and write assessments for presentation to regulators and senior policy makers.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with data analytics, intelligence analysis, investigations, or finan cia l services compliance
  • Experience with illicit finance, finan cia l intelligence, sanctions evasion and enforcement, or finan cia l crime
  • Experience analyzing people, activities, methods, or trends, including illicit activities
  • Experience with intelligence, law enforcement, and commer cia l finan cia l databases
  • Experience with Anti-Money Laundering provisions under the USA Patriot Act, Ba nk Secrecy Act, or statutes and asso cia ted regulations
  • Experience with data science analytics capabilities, including creating big data SQL queries, scripting in Python, Pyspark, R, and SAS, and cleaning unstructured datasets
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience producing all-source, cybersecurity, or threat finance finished intelligence products
  • Experience with sanctions or finan cia l regulatory investigations, implementation, or policy analysis
  • Experience working in an interagency environment
  • Experience with the finan cia l services industry, including compliance, asset and wealth management, securities, or ba nk ing operations
  • Experience c ond ucting te chn ical and data analysis and tracing cryptocurrency tra nsa ctions through crypto and cyber data platforms
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain te chn ology, including global portfolios of virtual currencies, functions of blockchain tra nsa ctions, and intersections of cryptocurrency and finan cia l crime
  • Ability to work as a high-performing individual in a supportive team environment and manage multiple, complex projects with minimal need for supervision
  • Ability to interpret a variety of finan cia l data statements
  • Master's degree
  • CAMS, CFCS, CPA, or CFE Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
