The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced defense professionals to be an embedded NLCC Liaison to COCOMS and the Joint Staff. Possible positions will be at United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) in Omaha NE, United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) in Colorado Springs, and the Joint Staff in the Pentagon Washington DC. This position serves as the on-site representative for the DoD CIO Director, National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) Management Office (NMO) to a key stakeholder supporting execution of the DoD CIO's Principal Staff Assistant (PSA) responsibilities and policies. It requires a highly self-motivated individual that can work with minimal oversight, proactively engage with military and civilian senior leaders and their staff, and continuously assess the COCOM's current and future operations, planning, and requirements.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engagement between the NMO and USSTRATCOM leadership and staff via classified voice, video and data communication links.
- Proactively completes NMO taskings using the experts available at COCOM location using daily interactions and relationships to move the mission forward.
- Advises USSTRATCOM leadership on Director, NMO equities and key issues.
- Participates in local exercises and planning meetings that contain NMO equities providing NC3 and NMO Subject Matter Expertise.
- Briefs NMO Director monthly on status of current projects, COCOM concerns, and upcoming events or planned briefings
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Master's degree or equivalent
- 15+ years of related experience
- Senior-level staff experience (OSD, Joint Staff, military department staffs, military service staffs, CCMDs, component command staffs)
- Strong knowledge of DOD organization, joint doctrine, and joint requirements
- Knowledge of nuclear command and control (NC2) and nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3) systems
- Exceptional writing and briefings skills
- Comfortable interacting with senior-level officials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Desired:
- Prior experience at COCOM i.e. USSTRATCOM, NORTHCOM, SPACECOM, or Joint Staff
- Joint Professional Military Education (Joint and Combined Warfighting School, Joint Advanced Warfighting School)
- Prior experience as a liaison office
