About the Role:
Aquila is seeking a HR Data Analyst t o join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The HR Data Analyst will be responsible for managing end-to-end reporting. The candidate will also work to identify reporting efficiencies.

About the Role:
Aquila is seeking a HR Data Analyst t o join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The HR Data Analyst will be responsible for managing end-to-end reporting. The candidate will also work to identify reporting efficiencies.
There are a few requirements for the position:
- Must be a U.S Citizen- Authorized to Work in the US - Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance(Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
- Must be within 100 miles of worksite (Lexington, MA)
Specific Responsibilities:
- Elicit reporting requirements from stakeholders to minimize churn and reporting errors
- Extract data from various sources and coalesce into clear and concise reporting
- Manage recurring and ad hoc reports requests and provide to internal/external stakeholders
- Develop intimate knowledge of the HR and company data landscape
- Subject matter expertise on PowerBI tool; participate in transition from SAP Reporting Analytics to PowerBI as primary reporting tool
- Adapt reporting format and data representation to optimize audience comprehension
- Monitor data quality and work to reduce systemic data quality issues
- Streamline and automate reports; comfortable with various data delivery methods
- Educates stakeholders on reporting self-service options
- Ability to extract deeper insights from data sets and identify correlations and patterns
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or IT related field required
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with data analytics, systems analysis, or related discipline is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Experience with SAP S4, including the HCM module and underlying data tables
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Module and underlying data tables
- Must have ability to respond under tight deadlines and prioritize deliverables while maintaining quality of work products
- Able to efficiently prioritize work and timely inform stakeholders on the progress
- Must be able to work independently as well as contribute to collaborative team efforts.
- Strong analytical thinking and methodical problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and presentation skills are required
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and database management systems desired
