Job Requirements:
The Position will have the following requirements:
- Board Certified LPN or LVN
- Current LPN or LVN License
- Minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged, but not required
Duties and Responsibilities:
In this critical role, the LPN/LVN delivers hands-on nursing care alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Conducting health assessments, intake interviews, and documentation of medical histories
- Obtaining and recording vital signs and patient symptoms with accuracy and efficiency
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a licensed provider
- Assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of routine medical conditions onsite
- Providing wound care, immunizations, and basic triage support
- Monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any changes to the supervising provider.
- Supporting infection control and public health initiatives, including isolation protocols
- Preparing patients for medical examinations or procedures
- Coordinating referrals and assisting with medical transfers for higher-level care
- Documenting all care provided in accordance with policies and recordkeeping standards
- Participating in emergency response efforts, including stabilization and medical summaries prior to travel, transfer, or release
- Supporting a clean, organized, and stocked clinical environment
