VTC Engineer - 505765

Overview:

AFRL plans and executes USAF programs in the areas of basic research, exploratory development, and advanced development. Delaware Nation Industries is currently providing organizational support to the AFRL at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH. This support includes tasks to ensure an effective Information Management concept and structure that fosters timely deployment and optimal operation of Information Systems to support the research of the AFRL mission.

Responsibilities:

• Install new, maintain existing, and troubleshooting of VTC equipment such as Cisco, Polycom, Extron, and Inogeni (not all of these but experience with VTC equipment in general. These are just some of the things we use)
• Install new, maintain existing, and troubleshooting of A/V equipment such as multi-microphone set ups, multi-camera set ups, multi-projector set ups, mixing boards, and PCs
• Investigate hardware problems and perform system hardware and communication connection repairs
• Analyze, plan, design, and install new VTC and/or A/V systems
• Coordinate with other locations, as necessary, to ensure communications are reliable and consistent for all equipment
• Provide accurate troubleshooting of VTC and/or A/V related equipment
• Support both point to point and bridged connections
• Support Teams and Zoon.gov meetings
• Help to facilitate meetings in conference rooms when requested, to include both VTC and A/V related support
• Coordinate the scheduling and booking of conference rooms

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of direct experience
• Preferred: Minimum active Secret clearance
