ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scrum Master to join our team in Clarksburg WV.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others.
  • Facilitate for an agile development team within the SAFe framework.
  • Lead team efforts in relentless improvement - Help the team improve and take responsibility for their actions; facilitate the team retrospective. Teach problem-solving techniques and help the team become better problem-solvers for themselves.
  • Support the Product Owner - The Scrum Master shall assist the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
  • Eliminate impediments - Many blocking issues will be beyond the team's authority or may require support from other teams. The Scrum Master actively addresses these issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the Iteration.
  • Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART events - Assist the team in preparation for ART activities, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two+ years of experience with project management and the Agile system.
  • Advanced skills with programming in various languages, including SQL.
  • Proficient with Jira and Azure DevOps Server (formerly Team Foundation Server).
  • Leadership and communication skills.
  • Good planning and organization skills
  • Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, and SAFe.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.


Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active Top-Secret clearance.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
