We are looking to support a strategic customer with software engineering support. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the world around you and contribute to classified programs and technologies you are passionate about. In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java/C++ as well as your experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions.
Required Skills:
* 3+ years of experience with Java, C++ or Python in an Agile environment - we have multiple openings at the mid and senior level
* Understanding of OO design, patterns
* Strong problem solving ability
Desired Skills:
* Experience developing and deploying distributed cloud-based applications
* Development, inspection, and manipulation of XML, XSDs and WSDLs
* Experience using SOAP-based web services (interface definition, implementation, WS-Security)
* Experience using scripting languages such as Ruby or Python
* Familiarity with a Javascript framework such as DOJO, Angular, jQuery, or Backbone.js
* Experience in an ISR field, including dissemination and releasability
* Experience with Spring
* Experience using continuous integration tools such as Hudson/Jenkins or Cruise Control
* Experience with automated testing, build automation and dependency management tools
* Experience using task management tools such as JIRA Agile
* Experience coding applications interfacing with Postgres and MongoDB databases
