Job Title: Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a talented Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic team dedicated to building, operating, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable services for cutting-edge platforms and products. In this role, you will be at the forefront of addressing critical challenges faced by government entities, ensuring that the software systems you support are robust and effective. You will collaborate closely with both forward deployed teams and product teams, taking shared responsibility for the design, operation, and troubleshooting of production services.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle support and operations of software, including monitoring, alerting, configuration management, and upgrades.
Deploy new products at customer sites and perform migrations to the latest infrastructure types.
Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure with a focus on long-term reliability and scalability.
Automate workflows, processes, and runbooks to reduce manual operations wherever possible.
Provide technical troubleshooting support for production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal operational impact.
Participate in a support on-call schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
Hands-on experience with system architecture, particularly in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), on-premises systems, or container technologies.
Proficiency with containerized applications, specifically in Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in automating processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Excellent communication skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
