This position will provide full spectrum program management support services to Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic's Expeditionary Deployable Node (EDN) Family of Systems (FoS) Project. This position will directly support NIWC's Project Manager (PjM) with providing data organization/knowledge management, communication management, program health assessment for the EDN FoS Project, and all other aspects of the Project Management functional discipline.

This position will provide full spectrum program management support services to Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic's Expeditionary Deployable Node (EDN) Family of Systems (FoS) Project. This position will directly support NIWC's Project Manager (PjM) with providing data organization/knowledge management, communication management, program health assessment for the EDN FoS Project, and all other aspects of the Project Management functional discipline.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and ensure Project Manager (PjM) approval of weekly and monthly project technical status reports. Tasking to include data collection, routing/approval, CM, and distribution.
- Manage the Project calendar to include hosting meetings, developing meeting briefs, capture/distribution of meeting minutes, and tracking meeting Courses of Action (COAs) identified.
- Provide data management support with maintaining the data architecture, storage, and controls of the Project's MS SharePoint database.
- Support the PjM to ensure communication and response to ad hoc sponsor driven Request for Information (RFI).
- Develop, track, and report the project's Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to the project and support monthly IMS collaboration with the PMO and Naval Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) sponsors.
- Coordinate visitor events to include ensuring visitor have meeting agendas, site badging, and hosting location confirmed.
- Support the Project with risk management responsibilities to include risk process development/implementation, risk identification/tracking/mitigation, and risk reporting. Risk data to be managed within Risk Exchange Plus, or other software programs as applicable.
- Coordinate with project functional leads to assign, collect, and develop Program Management briefs and artifacts as required.
- Provide a significant role in authoring, implementing, and maintaining program/project management process documentation to meet IPT, Division, and PMO requirements.
- Develop as required cost estimates/ assessments such as Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs), cost analogies, Basis of Estimates (BOEs) in support of program opportunities and year in/out task book planning.
- Support the project with drafting and technical writing support of ad hoc technical documentation and white papers.
- Utilize historical reporting, schedule, & risk data, project artifacts, and other relevant data to document lessons learned and advise the Project of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, using excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate team members, facilitate collaboration, and drive successful outcomes.
- Experience in conducting effective presentations, meetings, and project status updates to stakeholders, including adapting communication style to different audiences.
- Proficient in using communication tools such as email, chat, video conferencing, and project management software to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- A strong commitment to transparency, keeping stakeholders informed and up to date on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and other project management frameworks, and the ability to apply these methodologies to manage communication effectively throughout the project.
- Proven experience in identifying and evaluating business opportunities and developing and executing strategic plans to launch and grow new ventures.
Position Requirements:
- US Citizen.
- Secret Clearance Required for this full-time position.
- Work to be performed in combination with remote and is majority weekly onsite (North Charleston SC) for this position.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Organizational Development, Education, Physical Science, or business-related specialty.
- Six (6) years of previous experience, to include: Development of Program Acquisition Documentation, Development of Program Monitoring Approach (i.e., PERT, CPM, EVM, etc.), Data Collection and Analysis, Program Health & Risk Analysis, Development of Cost Estimates, Development of Program Status Reports, and Development & Management of Integrated Master Schedules.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures.
- Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Experience:
- Past Program Management (PM) support experience within federal government industry, Department of Defense, Department of Navy related to Process Operations Management, Acquisition, SETR Execution, and SATCOM technology focused programs.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
