We are seeking a Journeyman Software Engineer to support the Army program management office at the Fort Sill, OK.

ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for Army AFATDS mission-critical systems. We are seeking a Journeyman Software Engineer to support the Army program management office at the Fort Sill, OK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software for a variety of engineering applications.
- Work with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements.
- Develop tools and interfaces. Design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.
- Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. Design embedded systems software.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of Secret security clearance will not be considered.
- Agile Software requirements development and experience in software development within a scrum organizations structure.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and environments (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, etc.). Experience with project/task management software (Jira).
- Experience with version control systems and tools (git, mercurial, svn, etc.).
- Experience with developing both systems software and web servers (or full stack) and Windows 10/11.
- Strong ability to do troubleshooting systems-level software and root cause analysis.
- Experience with the following programming.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with Army stakeholders, test teams, and other team members.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline. Additional years of experience can be used as an equivalent.
- 2 to 4 years of experience.
- Telework Eligible: No, on-site at customers location 5 days at Fort Sill, OK.
- Travel Expectation: None.
- Work Location: Fort Sill, OK
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Army C2 applications, including FOS, JADOCS, DFSTS and AFATDS (though FOS and JADOCS.
- Experience in developing, analyzing, and refining requirements alongside our gov't customers under an Agile framework (mostly scrum or kanban).
- Experience employing Agile Test Principles, with knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience implementation of DevSecOps initiatives in support of CI/CD adoption for the Army C2 systems.
- Experience using DevSecOps tools / environments (e.g. Atlassian, Gitlab)
