Job Title: Plumbing Foreman
Location: Baledogle, Somalia

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and maintenance procedures. This role requires leadership capabilities to supervise a craft crew while ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study building plans and working drawings to identify required work aids and sequence of installations.
• Inspect structures to identify obstructions and ensure the structural integrity of installations.
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes made from metals (e.g., iron, steel, brass, lead) and nonmetals (e.g., glass, vitrified clay, plastic).
• Perform plumbing repairs, including replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and clearing clogged drains.
• Provide data to Automated Information Systems (AIS) for project reporting and tracking.
• Oversee and supervise the work of a skilled craft crew, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 to 7 years of related experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
• US Passport and NACLC/CAC eligibility required.
• Possesses all journey-level skills in plumbing and a verifiable record of experience and/or certifications in the craft.

Additional Information:

This position is part of a LOGCAP project based in Baledogle, Somalia. Candidates must be prepared to work in a base-life environment, which may include living in tents or building accommodations. The work schedule includes 72 hours per week.
