Sr. Systems Administration Associate focus on multiple dispersed, independent/intra-dependent systems that perform various functions, including Operating System (OS), Hardware (HW), database, and software applications. These systems are interoperable with other elements or systems to perform functions as part of a larger, more complex system. The GCC operates, monitors, sustains, and secures Enterprise directed systems throughout the GCC Area of Responsibility (AOR) and internal services.

Duties may include:
- Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
- Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
- Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
- Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in area applicable to the position and 2 years of relevant experience -or- 4 years of additional experience, in lieu of degree making 6 years of relevant experience
- 0 years of experience needed with Masters Degree
- 0-6 years related experience
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance and the willingness to sit for a CI polygraph, if needed
