ManTech seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented Senior SPLUNK Systems Engineer to join our team located in Fort Meade, MD. As a Senior SPLUNK Systems Engineer, you will utilize your expertise in Linux with Scripting skills (Bash, Python), as well as your experience in Cloud/AWS administration, hardware/software engineering, configuration, and deployment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
- Guide users in formulating requirements and provide advice on alternative approaches, conducting feasibility studies as necessary.
- Provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology.
- Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
- Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
- Guide system development and implementation planning, including the preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
- Interact with the Government on Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated issues or conflicts.
- Assume ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables in the Systems Engineering area.
- Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 14 years of experience as a Systems Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- In Lieu of Degree 19 years, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity can be substituted.
- 2 years of experience in architecting, deploying, and administering SPLUNK.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Nifi is desirable.
Clearance Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.
